Woof my name is Frank. I am the manager of cuddles at Mahatma. Today I like to tell you how I changed my owner's life. Pets (dogs are best :)), help hoomans to get back to the here and now.
Looking after a pet. Has many health benefits. When caring for a pet we are able to take a break of the constant train of thoughts that clouds our experience of life. I know deep right.
Petting an animal is known to reduce stress levels and create oxytocin (lovey duffey hormone). In other words make you feeeel good (rubbing my belly is good)
With us dogs you have the added bonus of going for walks where we help you meet other dog owners, which is good for hoomans (and we like the extra fuss). Especially going to the park and be in nature again helps reduce stress levels, as hoomans really do need nature.
